Abstract
This paper describes research carried out by using two digital computer simulation techniques, to compare the travel times of bus and non-bus traffic before and after the application of public transit policy along A-560 Keighley Road Mannington Lane, Bradford, England. Findings of this research reveals that placing priority on public transport programs for urban highways would increase the non-bus traffic travel times resulting in a means of restraint for non-bus traffic. This trend would automatically reduce the congestion, accidents, fumes and noise in areas where all traffic could not be accommodated by using public transport.
