Abstract
A test road has been built i the town of Vaesteraas 1983 in order to test fly ash-cement stabilized sand and gravel, respectively, as plant-mixed base-course materials. Also, shorter test sections were built to study cement-stabilized fly ash as a base course and unstabilized fly ash, protected from water with a plastic membrane, as a subbase material. The results from laboratory testing, construction of the test road and monitoring it over a period of time after construction are described. (Author/TRRL)
