Abstract

It is the unequal length of the transition curve at both ends of a circular curve which cause the problems of unsymmetrical curve in highway. This paper analyses the structure of unsymmetrical curve, gives the solutions to the distributing of the deflection angle and provides a complete set of formulas for calculation.
