Abstract
This paper presents experiences from several large simulation projects that incorporated GIS. The benefit of applying GIS to these analysis projects was to efficiently pre-process and post-process simulation data. The capabilities of GIS were effectively used to enhance and streamline the validation, reporting, and analysis of all traffic simulation tasks.
