Abstract
This study was conducted in Çankırı (Kızılırmak County) during two years, in 2009 and 2010 with three replications, to determine yield performances and quality values of 12 rice cultivars released in Turkey (Osmancık 97, Neğiş, Aromatik-1, Beşer, 7721, Halilbey, Gönen, Karadeniz, Kızılırmak, Koral, Durağan ve Şumnu) under the conditions of Kızılırmak County. Cultivar Osmancık 97 had the highest yield with 836.9 kg/da, followed by Halilbey with 823.5 kg/da. The lowest yield was obtained from cultivar Aromatik-1 with 474.7 kg/da. Quality and yield components such as yield, plant height, and panicle length, grain number per panicle, 1000 grain weight, lodging and head rice yield were examined individually during study
