Abstract

The Road Design System calculates earthwork volumes and produces plotter federal aid sheets and other graphics for engineering purposes based upon various constraints of road geometry as supplied by the designer. All programs have a common data base and can be run as desired to obtain specific types of analysis...Software Description: The system is written in the Fortran V and ASSEMBLER programming languages for implementation on a UNIVAC 1100/42 computer using the EXEC 8, level 32, operating system. 64K 36-bit words of core storage are required to operate the model.
