HDM-4 - A Success Story and New Perspectives

Abstract

The HDM-4 road investment analysis software suite, techniques for road investment future financial and physical performance modeling, and published knowledge of good practice in road investment planning and analysis have been made possible through the International Study of Highway Development and Management (ISOHDM). ISOHDM has allowed international best practices in road investment decision support to be researched and developed since the mid-1990s. Leading international development funding agencies, the World Road Association, and different nations have been among ISOHDM's financial sponsors. HDM-4 and its applications are profiled.
