REPORT OF THE OPERATIONAL SERVICE TRIALS OF THE LOCOMOTIVE CLASS 120 FROM 1980 TO 1982

Abstract

A description is given of the state of the operational service trials of the locomotives class 120 of the West German Railroad System. Advantages of the three-phase drive technique of this locomotive class compared with locomotives with traditional step control are shown. A summary of the essential results of the service trials and technical investigations is included.
