Abstract

For many hospital planners and administrators, parking is a continual problem. When developing new hospital parking it is imperative to consider key development issues such as future plans, capacity, location, and financing. Better parking makes the experience of visiting a hospital more convenient, thus giving the public a positive perception of the institution. This article reviews issues of development and costs, and offers solutions to remedy parking problems.
