Abstract

During the summer of 1965, the author was engaged at the Division of Building Research, in the Building Structures Section, in a study of the literature on the use of electric resistance strain gauges on concretes. As a by-product of the work, this bibliography was compiled, originally for internal use. It was recently decided that, although it covers only the period from 1940 to 1964, it might be of value to others and should be made available in the DBR/NRC series of Bibliographies.
