Abstract
A model of a Josephson junction with indirect conductivity is considered in which an impermeable barrier separating the superconductors contains a large quantity of small (kFa⪡ 1) orifices. It is shown that in such a structure the Josephson effect is described well by the well known theory previously developed for tunnel junctions.
