Abstract

outlet temperature was 334/sup 0/C, 325/sup 0/C, or 316/sup 0/C. Mean time to critical heat flux (CHF) varied from 0.7 to 1.4 sec, with delayed CHF of 2.5 sec occurring in the upper half of the bundle in some tests.
