RADIATION PROTECTION CONTROL WITH FILM DOSIMETERS

Abstract

A study was made of the possibility of extending the useful range of commercial x-ray film dosimeters to the high-energy gamma radiation of radioactive isotopes. A difference in darkening distribution would be produced according to whether a gamma or x-ray exposure was the case. The results in the case of gamma rays indicate an increasing uncertainty in the densitometric evaluation of the film darkening and dose relation (tr-auth)
