Abstract
Soft topological spaces are considered as mathematical tools for dealing with uncertainties, and a fuzzy topological space is a special case of the soft topological space. The purpose of this paper is to study soft topological spaces. We introduce some new concepts in soft topological spaces such as soft closed mapping, soft open mapping, soft connected space and soft paracompact space. We also redefine the concept of soft point such that it is reasonable in soft topological spaces. Moreover, some basic properties of these concepts are explored.
