Abstract
In a study of radioinduced graphite-CO/sub 2/ reaction at 100 to 650 deg C it was found that below 600 deg C the production of CO is affected only slightly; however, at 650 deg C an increased rate is observed. It is suggested that thermal decomposition of surface oxide takes place at this temperature. (auth)
