Recently, natural products of herbal origin have acquired great importance in protecting against and curing many diseases as an alternative to chemical drugs that sometimes cause many side effects. In this study, we focused on thymoquinone (TQ), a natural product derived from black seed (Nigella sativa L.) that awards it its therapeutic activity.
