Abstract

Summary Epidermal morphology and stomatal ontogeny of Murraya koenigii is described. Anomocytic, cyclocytic, polycytic and tetracytic stomata are found to be present only on the abaxial surface of the leaf and they follow euperigenous and hemiperigenous pattern of ontogeny.
