Abstract

Background. To study the effect of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) during in vitro fertilization on thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) depending on thyroid peroxidase antybodies (Anti-TPO) presence. Materials and methods. 99 women who underwent COH treatment at the “MirA” medical center from April 2021 to August 2023 were included in this study. TSH levels before the start of COH and before embryo transfer or cryopreservation were evaluated. Results. A significant rise TSH levels after COH was revealed, more significant in patients with Anti-TPO presence, which did not depend on women’s age and body weight.
