Abstract

The oriented silicon steel sheets with higher magnetic permeability and lower magnetostriction in rolling direction are used as the mover core of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) in this paper. In order to analyze the influence of magnetostrictive properties on vibration, the PMLSM model considering magnetostrictive properties is established. And the PMLSMs with two kinds of silicon steel sheets are compared. The simulation results show that the magnetostrictive effect will aggravate the vibration of the PMLSM. And the vibration caused by the magnetostrictive properties of the oriented silicon steel sheet PMLSM is less than that of the non-oriented silicon steel sheet PMLSM.
