Rated bearing life calculation for a roller bearing, taking into account axial load

Abstract

It is shown that the use of helical gears mounted on roller bearings is developing abroad in gearboxes. A method for rated bearing life calculating, taking into account axial bearing load, is proposed. An example of calculation is given.
