Abstract
Abstract As I have pointed out several times in the foregoing chapters, the Locational Possessive and the With-Possessive are mirror images of one another, in that the syntactic functions of the two NPs in the possessive construction are switched. However, as regards their relation to the balancing/deranking parameter, I hold that this switching of syntactic functions does not create a difference between the two types.
