RESEARCH OF MARKET CAPITALIZATION OF ECONOMIES AND COMPANIES WITHIN WORLD REGIONS

Abstract

The article further developed the approach to studying the market capitalization of the world’s economies and companies on a regional basis. It determined the place of capitalization of economies within world regions in the model of global economic capitalization. The dynamics and structure of the world economy market capitalization within its regions were studied. The dynamics of the ratio of the countries’ listed companies’ market capitalization to the value of their nominal GDP within the world regions were analyzed. The regional distribution of the world's largest listed companies based on their market capitalization was carried out. Ways of increasing the market capitalization of economies within different world regions were proposed.
