Abstract

Abstract We report the draft genomes of four Kluyveromyces marxianus isolates obtained from the elaboration process of henequén ( Agave fourcroydes ) mezcal, a Mexican alcoholic beverage. The average nucleotide identity (ANI) analysis revealed that isolates derived from agave plants are distinct from those from other environments, including agave fermentations.
