Abstract

The article is concerned with solving the problem of the wind turbine bearing condition monitoring. A method for the wind turbine bearing condition monitoring is proposed, based on the using of the vibration signals identification measurements technology. Identification measurement is a type of measurements resulting in a number that quantitatively characterizes the shape of some informative signal characteristic. The proposed method application for the vibroacoustic signals analysis received from the wind turbine bearing in real time is described. The proposed method makes it possible to detect the bearing degradation processes at an early stage in a more efficient way compared to available methods.
