A szlovák névtudomány múltja és jelene

This paper, giving an overview of the past and present of onomastics in Slovakia, describes the beginnings of Slovakian onomastics, enumerates the conferences and programmes organised by the Slovakian Onomastic Society and discusses the conclusions and the bibliographic data of publications (surveying specific as well as general aspects of personal names, place names and other proper names) produced in different fields of onomastics over the years.
