Abstract
Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. Typical diagnostic imaging includes transabdominal ultrasonography (US), endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging/cholangiopancreatography (MRI/MRCP), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), each of which can represent the characteristic pathophysiology of chronic pancreatitis. This chapter describes the various diagnostic imaging methods mentioned above.
