Abstract
Memory Management is very crucial and an important aspect for software development. Programming Languages like C# and Java support Garbage Collection Feature which allows them to keep track of unreferenced objects used in programs and free up the space acquired by such unreferenced objects. Space which is freed can be further used for allocating memory for future requests. Garbage Collection helps programmers to locate unreferenced objects which increases their productivity and reduces the overhead. The process of garbage collection involves identifying and freeing memory that is no longer being used by the program, which can improve performance and prevent memory leaks. The proposed system detects the memory leaks for the C/C++ programs. This approach works based on creating the disjoint sets of graphs, where each graphs represents a group of memory objects groups and references as edges. The main objective of the proposed work to find memory leaks within the application by analyzing the graphs. By using this approach program can keep the record of memory leaks occurs during execution. Overall, this approach offers the powerful and automated solution for detecting memory leaks for the C/C++ programs results in helping to improve the stability as well as vulnerabilities caused by memory leaks.
