Abstract Pulvinaria hydrangeae (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Coccidae) is an invasive species in Europe and was recorded for the first time in Ukraine in 2021. The species was observed in large numbers on Cerasus serrulata (Lindley) in the urban green area of Uzhhorod city in Zakarpattia Region. This species is a polyphagous soft scale and a pest of urban and forest trees and woody plants.
