Abstract

Field experiments were conducted to study the differenct cropping system, nutrient management and seed hardening in sorghum. The results showed that pure cropping of sorghum and reduced application of NPK as super digested form and biofertilizer increased the growth characters viz. height of the plant, DMP, LAI, root length spread, stem girth and yield of grain and straw of sorghum. Presoaking with chemicals like CCC and CaCl2 also increased the yield over water soaking.
