Abstract
The people-based site selection process introduced in the previous chapter will be further expanded on in this chapter through a discussion of the kinds of site analysis and planning techniques that can and should be adopted once a site is selected. Considerations around wetlands, biodiversity, pedestrian/bike access, public transit, ride-sharing availability, air quality, noise attenuation, and numerous other factors are presented as constraints and opportunities for the general layout, bulk, form, and footprint of a development.
