Abstract

Aim : Materials and To compare the newer modalities and nd out effectiveness of newer modalities for diabetic wound. Methods : A prospective study in GSVM medical college ,LLR & Associated Hospitals ,Kanpur (UP).Total sample size of 60 patients were taken and patients were equally divided into three groups selected randomly and follow up was taken upto 6 months between 2020 and 2023. Out of three modalities which were compared and evaluated .Skin grafting pa Results : tients group have maximum number of completely healed patients and was the cheapest among three modalities. skin grafting is the best modality out of three modalities Conclusion : followed by PRP and then collagen dressing. Skin grafting is cost effective modality as compared to PRP and collagen dressing and commonly performed procedure which is being done at tertiary level hospitals
