The article deals with the concepts of pessimism (as a style of explaining failures) and sexual attitudes. According to the results of the study, most students are characterized by a pessimistic style. The relationship between attitudes towards sex and pessimism is analyzed. The obtained results demonstrate the significance of the problem of distortion of sexual attitudes among students in general.
