Abstract

Communications and networks are critical for collaboration and joint capabilities in military operations. Although technology and operational concepts evolve, the need for voice communication and command and control remains. At the same time, increasing use of unmanned autonomous systems and various types of sensors, potentially in high numbers, pose new and different requirements to networks and communications. Thus, communications and networks need to adapt to these new and changing requirements.
