A microwave method for the synthesis of yttrium orthosilicate has been developed. The characteristics of the synthesized product are determined. On the basis of physical and chemical studies, it has been established that the microwave synthesis of yttrium orthosilicate from water-soluble salts of the initial components promotes the formation of nanodispersed powder of yttrium orthosilicate. At a temperature of 1000 °С, crystalline phases of yttrium orthosilicate of the composition 2Y2O3·3SiO2 is obtained.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
