Abstract

This report provides the results of the 1979 NASA/ASEE Engineering Systems Design Group. It summarizes a view of the 1995-2000 civil aviation avionics system. Following discussion of the Group's and avionics system's objectives, it describes the scenarios considered, the avionics technologies, the 1995-2000 avionics system, and the evaluation of impacts. The last chapter provides conclusions and recommendations. (Author)
