Abstract

Big data has significantly impacted healthcare in recent years. The massive amounts of data generated by healthcare systems, coupled with advances in computing power, have created opportunities for data-driven approaches to healthcare. This paper will explore the potential applications of big data in healthcare and discuss how healthcare providers, researchers, and patients can benefit from this technology. The topics covered will include data mining and predictive analytics, clinical decision support systems, and patient monitoring and communication. Examples of successful applications of big data for healthcare will be presented along with a discussion of the challenges and opportunities associated with this technology. Finally, the paper will discuss the implications of big data for healthcare in the future, including ethical considerations.
