Abstract
Blindness is one of the most significant crippling social causes, affecting the lives of visually impaired persons. Braille is one of the primary techniques used by blind persons to get access to written material. Therefore, in recent years, there has been a technical push to create refreshable braille devices which are cost effective and technologically advanced. These are made up of several physical dots that vary their arrangement dynamically to recreate distinct sequences of letters in braille. A model has been proposed to create a refreshable braille display at a minimized cost for grade-1 braille users.
