Classifications of developing a strategy for the development of a higher education institution

The article examines existing approaches to the classification of development strategies of higher education institutions, analyzes the possibilities, conditions and limitations of their application to higher education organizations. Also, internal (characteristics of the higher education institution) and external (characteristics of the environment in which the higher education institution operates) factors are described in choosing the strategy of the higher education institution.
