Abstract
Synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) using AgGaSe2 are well suited for the generation of high power ps and fs light pulses in the mid infrared region up to 12 μm1. In this contribution we report on the characterization of a AgGaSe2-OPO pumped by a Nd:YLF laser pumped KTP-OPO at 1.55 μm.
