Abstract

Tricuspid valve disease, in particular tricuspid regurgitation, is a highly prevalent condition associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Currently there is no specific medical treatment, and surgical interventions remain the treatment of choice for severe symptomatic tricuspid valve regurgitation. This chapter will provide an overview of the indications and outcomes of surgical tricuspid valve interventions.
