Abstract

The excrescent application of various synthetic pesticides led to control difficulties, including insect resistance and environmental contamination. This study was performed to investigate the efficacies of twelve plant sources of Indian origin to alternatively used in the control of Tribolium castaneum and Sitophilus oryzae and their repellency properties. TThe data of the study offers novel botanical extracts to be used in the management of the stored product insects, T. castaneum and S. oryzae.
