Abstract
The current state of innovations is characterized, the regulatory framework for their implementation and the prospects for the development of innovative activities in the agricultural sector of Ukraine are summarized. Peculiarities of the formation of innovative activity in the agrarian sphere have been studied. The role of scientific institutions in the development of innovative activity in the agrarian sphere of Ukraine was analyzed. A number of measures were proposed to activate innovative activity in the agrarian sector, and the prerequisites for their perspective and effectiveness were assessed.
