Abstract Various questions are presently being asked regarding the performance of turbojet engines at high flight speeds. It is the purpose of this paper to outline some of the problems associated with the high-speed flight of turbojet engines and to indicate the present methods available and the future research necessary to solve some of the problems encountered.
