Abstract The aerospace plane is a new type of aircraft used for both aviation and space flight. This paper analyzes the performance requirements of the propulsion system of space airplanes and focuses on the introduction and comparison of the propulsion systems used in three typical aerospace planes. Then, some suggestions are put forward for the subsequent development of the related technology.
