Abstract

Partial discharge detection technology has been widely used in the insulation state evaluation of switchgear. The faults are mostly reflected in surface discharge of insulating parts, internal discharge of air gap and metal suspension discharge. This paper introduces a rare corona discharge fault of bushing through switchgear, analyzes the causes from multiple angles, and puts forward the operation and maintenance strategy, so as to provide technical experience for condition based maintenance of switchgear.
