«BEAUTY» AS AN AESTHETIC AND ETHICAL CATEGORY IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND RUSSIAN LITERATURE OF THE XIX-XX CENTURIES

В данной статье рассматривается развитие концепта «Красота» на протяжении XIX-XX вв. Динамика ядерных и периферийных зон этого концепта в каждом временном отрезке выявляется, с одной стороны, на материале лексикографических источников, фиксирующих состояние узуса языка и русской языковой картины мира, с другой стороны, текстов романов Ф.М. Достоевского «Идиот» и В. Ерофеева «Русская красавица», отражающих эстетические и этические принципы своего времени. This article examines the development of the concept of «Beauty» during the XIX-XX centuries. The dynamics of the nuclear and peripheral zones of this concept in each time interval is revealed, on the one hand, on the material of lexicographic sources that record the state of the language usage and the Russian language picture of the world, on the other hand, the texts of the novels by F. M. Dostoevsky «Idiot» and V. Yerofeyev «Russian Beauty», reflecting the aesthetic and ethical principles of their time.
