Abstract

Abstract This 268-pages book presents eight chapters that focused on the effect of nutritional programmes and feeding strategies on organic poultry farming. Topics include: introduction and background; aims and principles of organic poultry production; elements of poultry nutrition; approved ingredients for organic diets; diets for organic poultry roduction; choosing the right breed and strain; integrating feeding programmes into organic production systems; and conclusions and recommendations for the future.
