This paper considers cooperative spectrum sensing in Cognitive Radios. In our\nprevious work we have developed DualSPRT, a distributed algorithm for\ncooperative spectrum sensing using Sequential Probability Ratio Test (SPRT) at\nthe Cognitive Radios as well as at the fusion center. This algorithm works\nwell, but is not optimal. In this paper we propose an improved algorithm-\nSPRT-CSPRT, which is motivated from Cumulative Sum Procedures (CUSUM). We\nanalyse it theoretically. We also modify this algorithm to handle uncertainties\nin SNR's and fading.\n
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
