Abstract

This chapter provides three reference annotated bibliographies written in the APA 7, MLA 9, and Chicago 17 styles. Each annotated bibliography contains an introduction and sample entries that use the type of materials undergraduates typically work with in their research. The annotated bibliographies are written in a manner consistent with how a good undergraduate student might write them. The APA 7 annotated bibliography is about math anxiety; the MLA 9 annotated bibliography is about comic books being treated as literature; and the Chicago 17 annotated bibliography is about capital punishment in the United States. This chapter is ideal for introducing annotated bibliographies to a class or for individual help sessions with students.
