Abstract

There are several applications, such as data storage, medical facilities, military equipment, and other industrial operations, that rely on an uninterruptible power supply to keep their operations running smoothly. Isolation of solid-state uninterruptible power supplies is necessary due to conversion of AC to DC and DC to AC using inbuilt filtering systems. This article evaluates a novel dual type transformer less DC-DC converter system for providing uninterrupted power supply, demonstrating its effectiveness in terms of size, weight, and efficiency with a capacity of 720 KVA and a nominal voltage of 430 Volt.
